The 2025 Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing (hereinafter referred to as the HCH Conference) will be held in Wuhan from November 24 to 26. The long-anticipated International Education Cooperation Conference will kick off concurrently.

As a key component of the 25th HCH Conference, the 9th International Education Cooperation Conference will take place at Central China Normal University on November 25. Centered on the theme "Striving for Building A Strategic Stronghold of Education Opening-up in Central China", this session is hosted by the Department of Education of Hubei Province, and jointly organized by Hubei Education International Exchange Service Center, Hubei Changjiang Education Press & Media Group Co., Ltd., and Wuhan Hyde Cambridge Education Consult & Services Co., Ltd. For the first time, it adopts an integrated three-dimensional model combining Opening Ceremony, Thematic Breakout Sessions and International Education Exhibition, turning a new page for international educational cooperation in Central China.
Highlight 1: Innovative Dual-Track Operation Model
Breaking the format of previous sessions, this event pioneers a dual-driving framework of "Conference plus Exhibition", delivered synchronously via both online and offline channels. Apart from the main venue, two parallel sub-sessions are specially arranged: - The thematic session on Sino-foreign cooperative higher education focuses on quality improvement and scientific research innovation; - The session on international exchanges in basic education delves into practical two-way mobility of young students. This design realizes targeted tiered matching for international educational cooperation.
Highlight 2: Inaugural International Education Exhibition to Build a Direct Resource Matching Platform
The highly anticipated inaugural International Education Exhibition stands out as a landmark innovation of this session. Centering on four core sectors: Sino-foreign cooperative education programs, international Chinese language education, cross-cultural communication, and vocational education overseas expansion, the exhibition gathers provincial universities, overseas educational institutions and education service enterprises to build a one-stop resource docking platform, facilitating the implementation of cooperation projects.
Highlight 3: Integrated Study Tours to Form a Full Talent Training Chain
The event arranges special campus visits for secondary school students. Participants will tour the international education exhibition zones, experience university learning environments and campus culture, establishing a connected cultivation system for global vision spanning basic education and higher education. This arrangement reflects the emerging trend of extending international education cooperation from higher education down to basic education.
With diversified forms and targeted positioning, the event will vigorously advance in-depth collaboration between Hubei and educational institutions worldwide and inject fresh momentum into educational opening-up across Central China. Numerous educational organizations at home and abroad have confirmed their attendance to date, and multiple letters of intent for international cooperation are expected to be signed.
It is reported that this special session will continue to serve as a bridge for international educational exchanges. Through building a pragmatic and efficient cooperation platform, it will further consolidate Central China’s pivotal position in the field of global educational collaboration.
