From February 2 to 8, 2026, at the invitation of China International Economic Cooperation Society under the Ministry of Commerce, Ms. Zheng Lidan, Chairperson of Wuhan Hyde Cambridge Education Consult & Services Co., Ltd., as a member of the Chinese Entrepreneurs Delegation, traveled to Laos to participate in the business tour of the “China-Laos Economic, Trade and Cultural Exchange Activities Marking the 65th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations”. 

During the inspection, the delegation visited Vientiane, the capital of Laos, Pakse City in Champasak Province, and the Four Thousand Islands Special Economic Zone, conducting in-depth research on the local industrial development and talent training situation. The research found that Laos has obvious training demands and systematic gaps in many industries, and there is an urgent need to introduce high-quality vocational education resources and establish a sound vocational training system. This situation provides a clear direction and entry point for Hubei’s vocational education to “go global” and promote the “Jingchu Workshop” project, precisely responding to the mutual willingness of both China and Laos to deepen cooperation in the field of vocational education.

At the “China-Laos Economic and Trade Cultural Exchange Activities Marking the 65th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations”, Ms. Zheng Lidan delivered a keynote speech on the theme of “Vocational Education Going Global”, systematically introducing the high-quality resources and cooperation advantages of Hubei Province in the field of vocational education. During the event, Wuhan Hyde Cambridge Education Consult & Services Co., ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Laos Four Thousand Islands Hotel Group, laying a solid foundation for the follow-up practical cooperation between the two sides in talent cultivation and supply.

Mr. Korlakun Khammavong, Director of the Investment Department of Champasak Province, Mr. Souliya Syhaphanya, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism, and Mr. Khampasong Dalavong, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.

In recognition of Ms. Zheng Lidan’s active contributions to promoting China-Laos economic, trade and cultural exchanges, Mr. Korlakun Khammavong, Director of the Investment Department of Champasak Province, specially awarded her the certificate of “China-Laos Economic and Trade Exchange Friendly Envoy”.

This inspection and signing mark a substantial step forward in the cooperation between China and Laos in the fields of vocational education and industry, opening a new chapter for the in-depth cooperation between the two sides in talent cultivation and skills training in the future.
