The 24th Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing (abbreviated as HCH Conference), hosted by Hubei Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs Association and supported by the United Front Work Department of the CPC Hubei Provincial Committee (Hubei Overseas Chinese Affairs Office), will be held in Wuhan from October 22 to 24. The 8th International Education Cooperation Conference, undertaken by the Department of Education of Hubei Province, will take place on October 23 concurrently.

To earnestly implement the work requirements for the 2024 HCH International Education Cooperation Conference, further boost event effectiveness and arrange relevant work for the series of activities, the Department of Education of Hubei Province convened a promotion meeting for the International Education Cooperation Conference on the afternoon of September 11. The meeting mainly briefed attendees on the overview of the special session, heard reports from relevant universities on their preliminary preparation progress, and discussed and formulated follow-up work plans.

Overseas educational institutions from more than 20 countries and regions including the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand will participate in this year’s HCH International Education Cooperation Conference. This special session serves not only as a weathervane for international educational exchange and cooperation in Hubei Province, but also as a vital link and bridge facilitating communication and collaboration between educational institutions across the globe.
