The 2021 HCH Conference, themed “Overseas Chinese Unite as One, Connect the World”, will be held in Wuhan from November 15 to 17. The Special Session on International Education Cooperation, hosted by the Hubei Provincial Department of Education, was launched for the first time in 2017 and has been successfully held for four consecutive sessions to date. Numerous universities and colleges across Hubei Province have leveraged this platform to open up new exchange channels, upgrade the level of international exchanges, and achieved remarkable outcomes.

To further elevate the event’s standard and enrich its content, the China Education International Exchange Association has been specially invited as the guiding organization of this special session. Wang Yongli, Vice President and Secretary-General of the Association, will deliver an online speech via live video link. In response to regularized pandemic prevention and control requirements, the session will adopt a hybrid online-offline format. It will attract participants from educational institutions in more than 20 countries, including over 50 overseas representatives and a total of more than 150 distinguished guests. Fourteen pairs of Chinese and foreign schools will sign cooperation agreements either through live video connection or pre-recorded videos during the event.

The 2021 HCH – Special Session on International Education Cooperation is scheduled to kick off at 14:30 on the afternoon of November 16 at Honghu Hall, Nanshan No.2 Villa, East Lake International Conference Center.
