The 2017 HCH International Education Cooperation Conference marked the first parallel event dedicated exclusively to the education sector under the Overseas Chinese Pioneering Conference (HCH), designed to build a cooperation platform for educational institutions at home and abroad.

Date & Venue：

As an integral component of the 17th HCH, the event was held in Wuhan in July 2017.

Theme & Objectives：

Its official theme was Build Cooperation Platforms, Boost Educational Exchanges. The conference gathered delegates from educational institutions worldwide to share authoritative, impartial information. It serves as a sound platform for domestic and overseas schools and educational organizations to strengthen educational cooperation, deepen cultural exchange and advance talent development.

Participation Scale & Outcomes：

Over 300 representatives from domestic and foreign educational institutions across more than 20 countries and regions worldwide attended on-site exchanges.

During the event, more than 10 Chinese and overseas universities signed cooperation agreements on the spot, reaching a wide range of international cooperation intentions.

Historical Significance：

Since its debut in 2017, this dedicated conference has evolved into a vital exchange platform for educational opening-up in Central China. Held successfully year after year, it has effectively facilitated the two-way flow of educational resources: bringing world-class resources into China and supporting Chinese education to go global.
